Who We Are

Our website address is https://projexagencies.ca.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data provided in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. This helps us detect and prevent spam.

We may use an anonymized string (a hash) created from your email address to check if you are using the Gravatar service. You can view Gravatar’s privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, ensure they do not contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can potentially download and extract location data from images shared on the site.

Cookies

Leaving a comment on the site gives you the option to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies are meant for your convenience and will last for one year.

When you visit our login page, we create a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted once you close your browser.

Upon logging in, we set cookies to save your login details and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies persist for a year. Choosing “Remember Me” extends your login for two weeks. Logging out will remove these login cookies.

Editing or publishing an article creates an additional cookie in your browser. This cookie stores the post ID of the article and expires after one day. It does not contain any personal data.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content, such as videos, images, or articles. This embedded content behaves the same way it would if you visited the originating website directly.

These third-party sites may collect your data, use cookies, embed additional tracking tools, and monitor how you interact with their content—especially if you have an account and are logged in to their platform.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

When you leave a comment, we retain the comment and its metadata indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of placing them in a moderation queue.

For registered users (if any), we store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time—except for the username. Website administrators can also access and update that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data. This includes any data you’ve shared with us. You may also request the deletion of your personal information, except for data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

Where Your Data Is Sent

We may check visitor comments through an automated spam detection service.
